In this project, due to the active involvement of all team members, we aimed to create a fully transparent workflow. The goal was to avoid tasks lingering in a pending state and have all team positions come together like pieces of a puzzle.

Our strategy

The concept of ‘Zero gas fee’ seemed interesting with the background of a gas pump.

The project website presentation in a space-themed environment was the closest idea to Skale’s branding.

In the world of cryptocurrency, rockets are highly popular, and we transformed the rocket into the brand persona for Skale.

From the beginning, depicting a coin symbolized buying and selling, aligning with the customer’s desires.

The goal of this project was to redesign the entire branding from the customer’s perspective, introducing a completely distinct style in the crypto industry. The aim was to position the brand in a familiar environment for users.

Transparency and security are fundamental in crypto, and alongside them, the speed of fund transfer is also crucial. All these aspects are summarized in the branding; our team’s effort was to encapsulate everything around these themes

A Crypto Coin

SKALE is a company that specializes in blockchain technology and provides solutions for building decentralized applications (DApps) and blockchain networks. SKALE offers a decentralized elastic blockchain network that aims to enhance scalability and performance for Ethereum-based DApps. By utilizing SKALE DappRadar, users can discover and explore a wide range of DApps in different categories, including gaming, finance, NFTs, and more.  The platform provides transparency and visibility into the SKALE ecosystem, allowing users to make informed decisions and stay engaged with the latest developments in the SKALE Network. 

SKALE is one of our latest projects in the cryptocurrency space. Our team redesigned and developed the new website for SKALE and we have also reimagined their branding and marketing designs.

Icon Design

The goal of the project was to redesign the brand, better showcase the services, and establish it as a leading platform in their field.

Project Goal

Our approach involves utilizing classic fonts rather than modern ones, in line with the timeless aesthetic of the space

In addition, we opted for sharp icons to complement the classic theme, adding depth and visual interest to the overall design.

Color selection was made considering the beverage industry and to reflect a reputable and unique brand.

Creating a nostalgic yet modern feel required precise research to ensure the brand's integrity was maintained.

We approached the logo redesign with great caution, carefully reconstructing it without compromising the core design language of the original logo. For the animations, we ensured everything was clear and concise, avoiding unnecessary details.

All the letters in the logo were redesigned from scratch. The client asked us to give the logotype a modern appearance without making significant changes to its overall look. In this project, the logotype played a more crucial role than the logo itself.

The design and development of this project were executed in Webflow. The entire process began with wireframing and research, and we implemented it in Webflow based on the client's requests. Our main challenge was integrating a 3D map into Webflow.

Website 

The animations and user interactions with the 3D map significantly enhanced the user experience, allowing visitors to receive information from the website in a much more engaging and visually appealing way.

Interaction Design

We were delighted with how the Piqo team created a 3D map for our website, and we're very pleased with the outcome.

Feedback from client

Established as an American Viticultural Area in 2011, Coombsville is Napa Valley’s 16th and newest appellation. A five-minute drive from downtown Napa, the region expands 11,000 acres, but only 13% is planted to vineyards—the remainder are rolling hills of wild landscape dotted with homes and horses. Often described as a hidden gem, Coombsville was once a sleepy area known for its good grapes. Today it harkens back to a more nostalgic Napa where everyone is hands on and dedicated to making the best wine possible.


The space was designed with a classic vibe in mind, as it was intended to be part of a winery collection.

The branding design for the Boof project was equivalent to an owl, which needed to be calm yet bold and displayed with precision. Below, you can watch the details of the work.

A few movements. We simplified them to be simple yet accurate compared to the owl's movements, summarizing them in a few seconds of motion.

To tackle these challenges, we employed a structured approach that included initial brainstorming sessions to gather diverse ideas and define the character’s core attributes, early and regular engagement with the client via Slack to ensure their vision was captured accurately, an iterative design process allowing for incremental improvements and adjustments based on feedback, a clear technical roadmap detailing the modeling, rigging, and animation phases to streamline workflow, and frequent testing at each stage of development to ensure the character met aesthetic and functional standards.

The project started with hand-drawn sketches to conceptualize Superchat. These initial drawings focused on exploring different shapes, expressions, and accessories to define the robot's look and feel. The sketches served as a foundation for discussions with the client, helping to align on the character's direction before moving to digital modeling.

Using Cinema 4D, we translated the approved sketches into a 3D model. This phase involved building the robot’s body, head, limbs, and features, adding finer details such as joints, facial features, and textures to bring the character to life, and applying colors and materials to give Superchat a polished and vibrant appearance. The result was a detailed and textured 3D model ready for animation.

Modeling

The client expressed high satisfaction with the project, highlighting our creativity, technical expertise, and responsiveness. They appreciated the seamless communication through Slack and the iterative design process that ensured their vision was accurately captured

Client Feedback

The Superchat project was initiated to design and animate a 3D robot character that embodies interactivity and modern communication. Developed using Cinema 4D (C4D), Superchat is intended to serve as a friendly and engaging mascot for our client’s brand. The project encapsulates a full design and development process, from initial sketches to final animations, with constant client feedback facilitated through Slack.
